Project Location: Zilla Parishad High School, Kodavatoor
village, Warangal District, Telangana, India
About the Project: This is a government
operated school run for educating underprivileged students from rural
background. They don't get access to tools and techniques to plan and work on
their studies. That results in low performance in studies. If proper guidance
is provided to them about time management and planning their performance will
increase and this school also lacks proper furniture.

Impact: 150 students of this
school will get good inputs which are essential for their success and because
of the furniture provided they will have perfect seating to listen the lectures
with attention, which will add value to their performance in exams.

About Community Impact Program: McGraw-Hill Financial ( www.mhfi.com ) the company which strongly
believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. MHFI encourages its
employees to work for service projects in which 20+ employees would be working
together and for solving public problems in their community to build better
lives and stronger communities. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees
spend their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad (part of MHFI
group www.spcapitaliq.com )
employees applied for projects from various areas.

Naga Rani
Gangam (Project Leader):-I am very happy that I got an opportunity to serve the Society
through MHFI. It was remarkable experience to reach school children and educate
them about their career. I am satisfied and got good experience in my life with
this project. With this project, we could do something to the society which
really help the people around there and i am thankful to all volunteers who
made this event great success. Looking forward to take like this opportunity to
serve the society and thanks to all Volunteers.
Anand Patnaik : First of all I would like to thank you for
providing me this golden opportunity to serve the society. It is my distinct
pleasure to serve along with other volunteers, who despite of their busy
schedule made their way to Kodavatoor and participated in such a wonderful
program. Be continue the project every year and help to the poor school
children and develop the country. I am fully satisfied with this project.
Rama Krishna Narayana Reddy Padala : On behalf of CIMA project
Kodavatoor village and the project title is “CIMA 080-Manage your Study Time
training & Provide Furniture to ZPHS Kodavatoor “. We are provided some facilities to the school
and given training to students regarding their career concern and also we are
conducted games and Quizzes’ to the students.
I thought whatever we are provided there like Benches, desks, sports
kits, books and plantation programs are more useful to them. I am very happy as
a part of that project as a volunteer.
I would like to say thanks to MHFI for conducting this kind of events.
Sarita Mavuri : I was really enjoyed a lot with Children and
involved in few programs like Career enhancement program for school
children and sports conducted. I am thankful to MHFI as our MHFI conducting
such "Community Impact Month”.
Naga Sankar Rao Kakaraparthi : It’s a wonderful
experience interacting with the children. Their enthusiasm is impressive. I can
say that they have bright future. I taught few things to them but learned many.
They really deserve all the benefits we have provided and even more. It’s one
of the best projects I have attended till now. I thank all the other volunteers
for their cooperation for making it’s a big success. I thank Nagarani for
giving such a good opportunity to be a part of this project and guide the
children…
Mukesh Kumar: CIMA project was very insightful; it has given
a chance to contribute some amount of time to the society from where we come.
I had
direct interaction with school kids, just loved to share our views towards
Career and how to shape their future. It was really a nice experience for me. I
would like to thank our company for providing me the opportunity to participate
in this project.
