Update about service project conducted by employees of S&P Capital IQ (www.spcapitaliq.com) - Business unit of McGraw Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com), Hyderabad, India

Project Location: M.P.P. School, Kawadipally Village, HayathNagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana, India.
About the Project: This is a Govt.M.P.P. School with lack of facilities like furniture, systems, sports equipment and Career guidance.

Project Leader: Ramya Kolan
Activity: Volunteers involves in plantation, conducting quiz and sports competitions and distributing prizes to students. In addition to that they arranged furniture and sports equipment to school.
Date & Time: 20th June, 2015 from10am to 3pm.
Number of Volunteers: 30

Highlights:
1.       MHFI provided Rs.120,000 for procuring materials and expenses for the project
2.       Providing School Benches, Book shelf, Almarah & systems
3.       Building privacy wall in between girls & boys wash room
4.       Cleaning the premises
5.       Providing Sports material to students
6.       Conducting quiz and essay writing sessions to students.
7.       Conducted games and distributed prizes.

Impact:
Through this 100 students got benefit with this project and especially girl’s washrooms renovated and made them comfort. With this project students get inspiration from volunteers and concentrate on their studies by setting clear goals to learn and grow. In addition to that school will become better equipped with good facilities.

About Community Impact Program: McGraw-Hill Financial ( www.mhfi.com ) the company which strongly believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. MHFI encourages its employees to work for service projects in which 20+ employees would be working together and for solving public problems in their community to build better lives and stronger communities. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad (part of MHFI group www.spcapitaliq.com ) employees applied for projects from various areas.

Ramya kolan (Project Leader): I Felt very happy to be a part of this & I felt very proud to work for students I would like to thank MHFI for conducting such a wonder full programs for the development of our society and also like to congratulate each and every volunteer for their participation.

Prem Kumar Voona: It felt an heartfelt appreciation to the CIMA project which provided me the opportunity  to become a part such an charity program which not only gave me chance to change something in the society but some to motivate those children towards education and cleanliness. Those were great and unforgettable moment spends with those young children reminded me of my childhood.

Trinath Vanka: Am very happy to be a part of this am very thankful to MHFI. I look forward to taking up more such projects in future.

Saritha: It is a great opportunity to participate in this program me with service motto.

Nagendra: It was a wonderful experience, this is my first CIM and I thank our company and S&P Capital IQ especially for giving this opportunity.

Afrin: First of all I would like to thank you for giving me a golden opportunity for helping poor school children. I feel excited, proud and enjoyable by seeing poor school children. Be continuing the project every year and help to the poor school children and develop the country. I am full satisfied with this project.

Dipti: Being a Project Leader of CIM Project, first I would like to say my special thanks to S&P Capital IQ for giving this opportunity to serve the society in terms of donating benches, Tables & Chairs and also life skills training & Career Guidance to students.

Monica:  It’s a good opportunity for me to be a part of the event for a meaningful impact, as well expanding our network and had great fun.

Banshi: First of all I thank this community for giving me such an opportunity for doing such a valuable services to the society so my sincere thanks to S&P Capital IQ. It is not easy to spend personal time in doing community services like this. There should be a lot of effort, dedication, planning and execution is required. Really appreciate the efforts of Volunteers. Thanks to all volunteers who made this event great success. It was really my pleasure to get chance to do service to the community.
