Update about service project conducted by employees of S&P Capital IQ (www.spcapitaliq.com) - Business unit of McGraw Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com), Hyderabad, India

Project Location: Hathonora Village & Mondal, Medak District, Telangana, India
About the Project: Hathnoora is a small village with agriculturists’ population. Due to their ignorance about usage of pesticides and fertilizers, they over dose the farm which is costly and they incur losses due to heavy cost they need to pay. Proper training to them in this regard may save their income as well as health.  In this village there are bore wells but they get access to that water only when power is available. Due to prevailing power cut, they are facing shortage of water. Constructing mini water tanks will be the solution.
In the part of CIM Project we also constructed the 03 mini water tanks in the village which will solve the more than 200 families (nearly 500 people) drinking water problem, and also they will understand about organic farming methods and minimize costs of agriculture.
