about service project conducted by employees of S&P Capital IQ (www.spcapitaliq.com) - Business unit of
McGraw Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com), Hyderabad, India.
Project Location: Z.P.H. School, Nareguda Village,
Nawabpet Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad, India
About the Project: The Z.P. High school is
located in Nareguda village, Nawabpet mandal, Ranga Reddy district at a
distance of 50 KMs from S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad. Mr S.Sudarshan head
master of that school approached us to support this school by providing
benches, water purifier, sports equipment and library requirements. In this
school around 170 students are studying and most of them were very poor
background.

Activity: Volunteers collected data of various school drop outs and went
to door to door and met them, discuss and understand reasons for their
discontinuation and guided them on how their short term efforts will lead for
better future. Volunteers gave career guidance sessions to 10th class students,
and conducted games and competitions to the students and distributed the
prizes. In addition to that we arranged furniture, sports equipment, and water
purifier to school on behalf of our company’s CIM program.

program at the School Premises

writing sessions to students.

Impact:
There
are 170 students currently enrolled in the school. They will get inspiration
from volunteers and concentrate on their studies by setting clear goals to
learn and grow. In addition to that school will become better equipped with
good facilities.

About Community Impact Program: McGraw-Hill Financial ( www.mhfi.com ) the company which strongly
believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. MHFI encourages its
employees to work for service projects in which 20+ employees would be working
together and for solving public problems in their community to build better lives
and stronger communities. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend
their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad (part of MHFI group www.spcapitaliq.com ) employees applied
for projects from various areas.
