about service project conducted by employees of S&P Capital IQ (www.spcapitaliq.com) - Business unit of
McGraw Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com), Hyderabad, India.
Project Location: Kaakunoor Village,
Keshampet Mandal, Mahaboobnagar District, Telangana, India
About the Project: Kaakunoor is a village of
850 people from agricultural occupation. Due to their ignorance about
importance of greenery around their house, they could not utilize the fertile
land around their house. This may cause damage to their health. Also they can
grow fruit bearing trees around their house which can bring good health for
them. They are also facing problem of water scarcity due to deficiency in
storage facilities.

Project Leader: Raviteja Yerra
Activity: Volunteers will take support from village youth and work on cleaning
the village, lifting garbage and creating suitable places for recycling and
composting. They will reach all people and tell about duty of every person in
protecting environment through proper waste management and recycling. Also they
will describe personal damage to people because of bad practices of throwing
waste on roads and other common places. As construction of three water tanks is
part of the project, they will buy all required material and engage paid labor
along with their support and will install the tanks for the benefit of the
needy people.

Impact:
600
people of the village will have clean village arena and will also understood
the importance of clean surroundings. As we provided three mini water tanks,
this project can solve their drinking water needs.

About Community Impact Program: McGraw-Hill Financial ( www.mhfi.com ) the company which strongly
believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. MHFI encourages its
employees to work for service projects in which 20+ employees would be working
together and for solving public problems in their community to build better lives
and stronger communities. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend
their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad
(part of MHFI group www.spcapitaliq.com
) employees applied for projects from various areas.

such a great opportunity of participating in a CIM project to serve the
society. I am very thankful to Our Company to facilitating the CIM project.
Through this CIM program I deserved an opportunity to serve public through
facilitating needs as per their needs with the help of Our Company. This is a
very good initiation of our company towards development of our society &
spreading name and fame of our brand image. It makes me feel good in wandering
people to know the basically needs of them & how to overcome them.
