Project Location: Z.P.H. School, Avancha Village, Narasapur Mandal, Medak District, Telangana, India,
About the Project: This is a government school in which 180+ students are undergoing studies. Here this project was conducted not only for students but also for their parents to inspire for the further studies .This school needs facilities like Sports items, Benches and Library books. By providing such facilities students get enthusiasm on studies and they can concentrate on their studies well, their skills will be enhanced and parents also feel secure to send their children to school. Due to their ignorance about cheap and best nutrition they suffer from mal nutrition, so for providing awareness about the nutritious and homely food also this project was conducted.

Activity: Volunteers conducted Parents counselling how to feed nutritious food to students at home. They also inspired Parents of 300 students to guide students and they will be benefited with better environment for their studies. Our volunteers also conducted Career Guidance for 10th class students, various games conducted and plantation was done. In addition to that they procured furniture and other items for school and installed. They also motivated students to dream big and achieve big.

Highlights:
1.       MHFI provided Rs.120,000 for procuring materials and expenses for the project
2.       Providing School Benches for 180 High School Students
3.       Providing Sports material to students
4.       Conducting quiz and essay writing sessions to students.
5.       Career Guidance classes to students.
6.       Conducted games and distributed prizes
7.       Conducted counselling for parents about how to feed nutritious food to students at home.

Impact:
·         There are 300+ students currently enrolled in the school.
·         The students will be inspired through Career Guidance which will help them to identify their short term and long term goals.
·         The school will become better equipped with good facilities.
·         Parents will also be inspired through counseling about how to feed nutritious food to students at home.
·         This project will help both students and parents about the importance of environment through Plantation.

MHFI encourages its employees to work for service projects in which 20+ employees would be working together and for solving public problems in their community to build better lives and stronger communities. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad (part of MHFI group www.spcapitaliq.com ) employees applied for projects from various areas.


FEEDBACK OF THE VOLUNTEERS:
Dhanesh Khakkar (Project Leader): It gives an immense pleasure and satisfaction when we are doing any good work and I am happy to say that our MHFI CIM program has surely achieved its main aim goal that is “Giving back is essential”. Developing a village is as important as developing a school and in our project we have tried to solve few basic problem of village by giving counselling about nutritious food, career guidance, plantation etc. and to some extent we are able to fulfill the objectives of our project. I heart fully thank all the volunteers for making our event a great success.

Sarath Chandra Vakati (Co-Leader): I am very grateful to be part of this CIM project. By executing this project we too learnt many things which help us in the future. We are very thankful to S&P Capital IQ for giving this opportunity to do so.

Jai Shankar: In All the projects I enjoyed plantation, games with children’s etc,. but in our project we have section called Parents and students counseling regarding their career guidance and study environment management and with parents doubts clarifications and things done very nice… That was a great job of Chennakesava anna and Sarath anna, satyanarayana, Nandini, Yashmini We have to appreciate them for their efforts… Thank you very much Dhanesh & Sarath Anna for giving me the opportunity to join your group. You being Visionary and Honest, I am thankful to be part on this excellent project. I would like to send a special gratitude to S&P Capital IQ for giving this opportunity.

Narendra Gopi Kishore Vaka: I am very thankful to be a part in this CIMA project. This is my first project. I learned so many things by participating in this event. I learned how to manage different people by words, team organizing skills and how to handle children in class room and explaining career guidelines

Nandini Gadiparthi: I am very thankful to be a part in this CIMA project. I learned so many things by participating in this event. I learned how to manage children in class room by giving career guidance. By participating in parent’s guidance I came to know my communication levels and explanation skills. By preparing games like Missing letters and Quiz I gained knowledge. I am feeling so happy....finally it became grand success.....thank you once again.

Yashmini: Felling glad to be a part of this project as this is the time for us to “give back to society”, experienced awesome time with those children conducted many fulfilled activities, taught many news things to students and as well as learned many new things from that environment. The best part which I experienced in this project is parent counselling, motivating parents towards their child’s higher education and creating awareness about child marriages etc.. Which helps to create a better society in the future. I would like to thank “Sarath Chandra Vakati” & Dhanesh for giving us a chance to serve the society and all my co- volunteers for making this event a grand success.
