Update about service project conducted by employees of S&P Capital IQ (www.spcapitaliq.com) - Business unit of McGraw Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com), Hyderabad, India.

Project Location: Om Shanti Nagarajan Educational Academy, Mayuri nagar, HUDA Colony, Hyderabad, Telangana, India
About the Project: This is a charitable school run by a nonprofit trust for the benefit of children from slum area. Flooring windows and walls of this school are in bad condition.  Our volunteering at the school will enhance its outlook and comfort to students.

Activity: Volunteers will procure the essential material for repairs and renovations and complete the work.
Date & Time: 30th May, 2015 from 10am to 4pm
Number of Volunteers: 20

Highlights:
1.       MHFI provided the Rs.120,000 for repair works and renovating the school
2.       Windows repair and Floor renovation were done as part of the project.
3.       Volunteers involved in the painting the class room surroundings.
4.       Whitewash to the compound wall

Impact:
320 students of the school will get good environment and can concentrate on their studies.

About Community Impact Program: McGraw-Hill Financial ( www.mhfi.com ) the company which strongly believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. MHFI encourages its employees to work for service projects in which 20+ employees would be working together and for solving public problems in their community to build better lives and stronger communities. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad (part of MHFI group www.spcapitaliq.com ) employees applied for projects from various areas.
