Project Location: Veljerla village, Farooqnagar mandal, Mahaboobnagar District, Telangana, India

About the Project: Z.P.H. School, Veljerla: This Z.P.H.S. is located in Veljerla village, Farooqnagar mandal Mahaboobnagar district at a distance of 60KM from S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad and one of most backward area school. This school needs so many facilities like Water facility, Benches and Library books. By providing such facilities and volunteer work students get enthusiasm on studies and they can concentrate on their studies well, their skills will be enhanced and parents also feel secure to send their children to school. By Parents motivation they will support their children at homes properly.

Activity: Career guidance to the students by our volunteers. Parents counselling to support and encourage students. Conducting games and competitions to the students and distributing the prizes. Donating benches and sports equipment.

About Community Impact Program: McGraw-Hill Financial ( www.mhfi.com ) the company which strongly believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. MHFI encourages its employees to work for service projects in which 20+ employees would be working together and for solving public problems in their community to build better lives and stronger communities. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad (part of MHFI group www.spcapitaliq.com ) employees applied for projects from various areas.

FEEDBACK OF THE VOLUNTEERS:

Kishore Kumar Reddy (Project leader): It is wonderful opportunity from our company MC Graw Hill Financial. Giving option to employee is best one to serve the society as they know local problems of their area. We have chosen the correct needy school and today by our program we could see glory in the eyes of students which is never forgettable. Our services are very helpful for them. I pray God to give more resources to our company for providing these service activities with our Community Impact Month program. My deepest gratitude to our company for providing this opportunity.

S. Sreenivasa Prasada Rao: Great Work !!! All volunteers voluntarily involved themselves to interact with the children throughout the day, which is really inspirable. Either you are new or experienced for these Activities, we feel this CIM Project have given you memorable moments. The key to our success rests in people like you, who embody the spirit of greatness by saying, yes I can and you can too.

Yashmini Devi Silaparasetty: Felling glad to be a part of this project as this is the time for us to “give back to the society”, really had a very good time with those school children, did lot of things like knowledge oriented and as well as fun oriented activities to those little masters and also had good interaction with other department folks, apart from all these this project inspires me very much towards social welfare activities. Thanks a lot Capital IQ for making me a part of this service oriented program

Naga Usha Rani Motepalli: It’s really one of the memorable moments that I can’t forget in my life. I felt very happy for spending time in doing this service to the children. Firstly I want to say thanks to all volunteers for their active participation and making this CIM as successful. Because of this project I also interacted with the colleagues in other divisions’ .Last but not least I thank MC Graw Hill Financial who organized the entire program with good planning and may god give us the support for doing more and more project’s in the future also.

Sonia Munaparthi: Definitely it’s a good experience for me, going to an unknown place and meeting people & students there and knowing there situation, needs and wants. The Programme was well planned we have touched all aspects of doing a social service and also conducted elocution, easy writing & quiz and games. All our volunteers are active in their participation & also the children have actively participated in all the programs which we conducted. It’s the first time for me to do this kind of service and it has motivated me to do such projects further. I sincerely thank “MC Graw Hill Financial” for organizing such a good project & making me a part of it. May god give him support to do more projects in his future. Thanks to all the volunteers for making it successful and a memorable experience for me. I wish all to continue in involving in such social activities

Swathi Gutta: That was really great working for a social cause in your guidance. I really had good time with school children explaining the importance of health & environment cleanliness, counseling parents, conducted competitions to make them more active. I had interaction with other team colleagues of our office…… I am very much happy to be part of this project team and the noble cause. I thank MHFI for giving me this opportunity to serve the society. Giving back is essential………..!!!!!

If you encourage like this students shine like anything and achieve good goals in their life.
