Update about service project conducted by employees of S&P Capital IQ (www.spcapitaliq.com) - Business unit of McGraw Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com), Hyderabad, India.

Project Location: Amma Nanna Anada Ashramam, Choutuppal, Nalgonda District, Telangana, India
About the Project: Amma Nanna Anaadha Aashramam is an indian non-profit organization tackling the problems of needy, insane and underprivileged persons and supporting them by providing aid along with lodging, boarding and helping them to become a normal human being. Since 2010, Amma Nanna Anaadha Aashramam's innovative helping programmes in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh states have directly supported over 200 families to changing the insane people to normal human being and sending those completely changed persons to their own families, and many people have benefited from an improved environment.

Activity: Volunteers worked rigorously for 3 hours on construction site. Donated necessities like Rice, Dhal sugar, Tea powder, Barber kit, Jugs, plates, Tumblers, Buckets, chairs, and other provisions. Spent enough time in playing games with inmates and planted saplings.

Number of Volunteers: 18

Highlights:
1.       MHFI provided Rs.120,000 for procuring materials and expenses for the project
2.       Provided necessary material and Help to Constructed Toilets and wash Rooms.
3.       Given Rice and dhal and other necessary groceries
4.       Provided with Barber Kit
5.       Volunteers worked for 3 hours on construction activity
6.       Planted trees

Impact:
There are 120 inmates in the orphanage. As there are no wash rooms and toilets they have to go outside for defecation which is unhealthy and against the human dignity. We constructed the toilets and provided necessary groceries

About Community Impact Program: McGraw-Hill Financial ( www.mhfi.com ) the company which strongly believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. MHFI encourages its employees to work for service projects in which 20+ employees would be working together and for solving public problems in their community to build better lives and stronger communities. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad (part of MHFI group www.spcapitaliq.com ) employees applied for projects from various areas.

JG. Phanikanth: I felt really very happy, and I thank the almighty god from bottom of my heart to give the physical and mental strength to serve the people who are mentally challenged. It’s being a really a wonderful opportunity and a feel good occasion and great moments in my life to know about activities of society and the needy people around us both physical and mentally. I personally thank company to provide an opportunity to participate in this kind of activities especially S&P Capital IQ. Also personally congratulate Raja in identifying this type of activity and appreciate CIM leader Mr. Ramesh in take-up this CIM in providing facilities to them with this occasion.

Prakash: I am very happy to say that I have worked as one of the volunteer in our CIM project “COMMUNITY IMPACT PROGRAM on 28/6/2015 at Choutuppal (Amma Nanna Anadha Ashramam)” First I would like to appreciate being a social responsibility in selecting this project is an important job, especial in caring for the people who are mentally challenging and missed their families and living like ……..which I cannot express in words. From the day beginning I was working with enthusiasm coordinating with our team by planting trees and service those people providing food shelter and basic needs which I felt more satisfaction and the day I will mark as most memorable day in my life. Once again I am thanking for giving chance in COMMUNITY IMPACT PRORAM.
