About CIM (Giving back is Essential)
Lead India 2020 Foundation (www.leadindia2020.org) partnered with McGraw-Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com) the company which strongly believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. It extends to giving back to the society. This year MHFI has launched Community Impact Month (CIM) in which 20+ employees would be working together and for solving public problems in their community. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ (part of MHFI group) (www.capitaliq.com) employees applied for projects from various areas. These employees are working tirelessly to fulfill the motto and render true meaning to 'Giving back is essential'.
Below are details of one of the CIM projects.
About ZP High School, Jaikesaram
Jaikesaram Village is located at a distance of 60 KMs from Hyderabad office
Approximately 150 students study in the school
Current problems at ZP High School, Jaikesaram
The school doesnot have basic infrastructure, such as benches and sports equipment.
As the students come from a rural background, they does not have much knowledge on various career paths.
Volunteer work done at Z.P. High School, Jaikesara
Keeping in mind these problems, S&P Capital IQ Hyd. conducted a CIM event at Z.P. High School, Jaikesara on June 23, 2014
Donated 32 benches and sports kit
Conducted career guidance session for high school students;
Conducted various games and fun activities, and distributed prizes for winners

With the provision of benches, students will be able to concentrate better on their studies
With awareness on career options students will now choose the area of their interest wisely

Rama Krishna Rao Kolasani: I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to CIQ for giving me the opportunity to work at Jaikesaram CIM project. I have learned a lot about the unique aspects of responsibility and care towards society. This is the first time I doing some service to the society. I am happy to spend to time with innocent students, friendly teachers, and responsible volunteers. I promise you that I will maintain this co-operation in the future projects as well. Once again thanks for everything. All the volunteers made this project day a joyride, thanks to them.
Dhanesh Khakkar: I am feeling very happy for getting an opportunity to do something good for the society. The time spent with children made me remember my childhood memories. It had a great time at the CIM project. My Special thanks to Srinivasa Rao Kilaru & CIQ management team for giving me that opportunity to being part such wonderful thing.
Ahmed Ali Mohammad: Our company has provided us with a golden platform. I am excited to see the enthusiastic welcome and participation from the villagers. They are simple and hardworking, and are filled with aims and aspirations. I can assure you that they are going to reach their goals in short span of time if we continue to conduct these kind of guidance and support programmes.
Swathi Gutta: Students & school management were very much happy by our CIM prokect. We had a good interaction with children. It’s a great opportunity to serve the people. I convey my heartful thanks to CIM management team, S&P Capital IQ, and Srinivasa Rao Kilaru for this opportunity.
Mohammad Saqib: This CIM project made me realize that, awakening to the purpose of one’s life is the aim of the social service. I would like convey my thanks to the management team and co-volunteers for giving me the opportunity to be a part such wonderful thing.
Guna Sekhar Thodeti: I would take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to CIQ for giving me the opportunity to work the Jaikesaram CIM project. I really enjoyed the time that I spent with all the volunteers. Thanks to all the volunteers who participated along with me and special thanks to Mr.Kilaru srinivas Rao for giving this opportunity.
Sarath Chandra Vakati: Firstly I congratulate Srinivas Kilaru for choosing such a nice school. The students are so disciplined and the teaching staff respected us a lot. I had a great time, while conducting career guidance session and planning games. These deeds gave a lot of satisfaction to me. I am very much thankful to co volunteers for their co operation and support. I also thank the S&P CIQ for giving me this great opportunity.
