About Community Impact Month (Giving back is Essential)

Lead India 2020 Foundation (www.leadindia2020.org) partnered with McGraw-Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com) the company which strongly believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. It extends to giving back to the society. This year MHFI has launched Community Impact Month (CIM) in which 20+ employees would be working together and for solving public problems in their community. Impact of CIM project at Begumpet village

One of the basic survival need has been addressed through this project. Now the villagers don’t have to worry about water available. The RO water plant will enable the children to maintain a healthy lifestyle and concentrate on their studies. Villagers don’t have to depend on the power availability, which is a perennial problem for water consumption.

Feedback of the CIM Volunteers

Venkatesh (Leader): Many villages are suffering with small problems because they don’t know how to tackle them. Problems, like deforestation, plastic contamination, and reduction of ground water levels are some of these issues. I thank S&P Capital IQ for understanding these problems, and encouraged and guided employees towards solving these problems. I don’t any knowledge about CIM and leave else leading one. The CIQ management has supported me in such a way that a fresher like me can lead the project without any hiccups. I would also like to appreciate the volunteers for their dedication and time in solving problems, and for their enthusiastic support. I am looking forward to be part of many more events.

Jagan Babu Sunku (Co-Leader): It’s a great opportunity for me to be a part of the event of a meaningful impact. I was also able to expand my network and had great fun. My special thanks to my event leader, Venkatesh who gave me an opportunity to function as a co-lead of this project .

Sathish Mandha: It was an amazing experience to share my time and help the school children. As a part of this program we have tried to give our best to the society. This programme made me to recall all my childhood memories. I hope that I will be able to participate in this kind of events in future as well and try to give as much as I can to the society. I convey my special wishes to Venkatesh and Jagan for organizing this event successfully.

Nagaraju Bhakthapuri: My special thanks to Venkatesh and Jagan who gave me this wonderful opportunity. I wish and hope that they will to conduct more events like this. I enjoyed and learnt a lot through this event.

Sravya Mahapatro: It was an immense pleasure to be a part of this programme. The career guidance sessions conducted here will help the students to pave their path for the future to decide and reach their goals. It was a great opportunity for me to be a part of the career guidance programme conducted in the school. I would like to repeat one of the heart rendering lines spoken by a student about protecting the environment “Let us plant 10 plants before cutting a single tree ”. These words showed their responsibility they feel towards protecting the environment. This was one of my wonderful experiences. I hope that we conduct many such programmes in future.

Paramesh Bandi: I am extremely happy with the way things went on. It had a good time with the school children. Its so nice to take part in the renovation of this village.

This CIM day was just awesome. It was happy to able to attend the event, and meet the villagers and students. I want to appreciate all our team members for their support. I would hope that the company will take more and more CSR initiatives. Finally, thanks a ton to our management for giving me this opportunity.

Beneficiaries:

Lachyya, Sarpanch of Begumpet: I am very thankful to The S&P Capital IQ and Lead India 2020 Foundation members for choosing my (Begumpet) village for the CIM project. The mini water tank and street lights will be very useful to the students. And dust bins also very useful. The environmental classes very useful in protection the environment and increasing in the ground water level, this class impressed me a lot. And I am requesting the Capital IQ members please be part in development of my village in future.

Sri Sailam, School Head Master: We are very happy that the company has chosen our school. Our school has least facilities but students have very good levels of knowledge. The RO water purifier is very useful to my students in reducing the diseases, which are spread by unclean water. The act of donating note books and pens to the economically poor students is very appreciable. These deeds will motivate the economically poor students to overcome the problems and concentrate on their studies.
