About CIM (Giving back is Essential)
Lead India 2020 Foundation (www.leadindia2020.com) in partnership with McGraw-Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com), a company, which strongly believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential' handles various community impact projects. It extends to giving back to the society. This year MHFI has launched Community Impact Month (CIM) in which 20+ employees would be working together for solving public problems in their community. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ (part of MHFI group) (www.capitaliq.com) employees applied for projects from various areas. These employees are working tirelessly to fulfill the motto and render true meaning to 'Giving back is essential'.

About GHMC Mini Sports Complex - KPHB, Hyderabad


  • GHMC Mini Sports Complex ground  facilitate in serving the needs of the players in and around KPHB
  •  It is situated at KPHB VII Phase in Hyderabad
  • Weekly around 300-400 citizens of various age groups use this ground to play different games

Present problems at GHMC Mini Sports Complex - KPHB, Hyderabad

GHMC Mini Sports Complex –KPHB, Hyderabad lacked facilities and equipment.

  1. Gym has no proper equipment,
  2. No proper drinking Water facility
  3. volley ball and basket ball courts are poor condition
  4. Sports complex doesn’t have a green environment
Due to these problems, Players are not able to use this ground and most of them are going gated community grounds to play indoor and outdoor games by paying fee.

Volunteer work done at GHMC Mini Sports Complex - KPHB, Hyderabad

Keeping in mind these problems, S&P Capital IQ Hyd. conducted a CIM event at GHMC Mini Sports Complex – KPHB, Hyderabad on May 26, 2014


  1. Purchased and installed Gym equipments, such as Multi Gym, Cross trainer, Bench Press and dumbbells  
  2. Purchased and distributed sport items, such as Volley balls, Basket  balls, shuttle cocks and basket ball cones to the players
  3. Purchased and installed Aqua guard water purifier to facilitate drinking water
  4. Purchased and arranged Almarah for preserving sport items and other important things
  5. Provided red gravel and fertilizers to plant the trees and for other activities
  6. Provided around 40 different types of plants to maintain greenery at the ground
  7. Provided power connection to the water purifier
  8. Purchased paints, and painted Gates, Basket ball polls &court, as well as for doors and windows
  9. cleaned and plantation at GHMC Mini Sports Complex premises

Impact of Volunteer work at GHMC Mini Sports Complex - KPHB,Hyderabad

After the CIM project, the entire play ground has a new look. These facilities will enable the players to use the Gym in a better way for their health and sports with improved zeal and enthusiasm.
