CIM Highlights of Construction of Mini Water Tanks at Mubarakpur Village
About CIM Project
Volunteer work done at Mubarakpur
Keeping in mind these problems, S&P Capital IQ Hyd. conducted a CIM event at Mubarakpur village on 1st June, 2014
We proposed to provide drinking water to the village and prevent the wastage of water by constructing water tanks. We have constructed a water tank at school premises, which will be more useful to both farmers and school children. We have also constructed two more water tanks for house hold.
Volunteer works on the CIM day:
1. Cleaning premises at constructed water tanks
2. Plantation at school ground
3. Painting of all water tanks
4. Conducting Environmental Awareness sessions
5. Educating the people about the benefits of storing water
Impact of CIM project at Mubarakpur village
Now the villagers don’t have to worry about water, one of the basic survival needs. They can now use their children’s time and their time in more productive pursuits. The construction of water tanks enables the children to study and farmers to maintain quality of their goods. They don’t need to depend on the power availability, which is a perennial problem for water consumption.
Feedback of the CIM Volunteers
Sri Krishnudu Velpula (Leader)
Knowing that a great impact can be made on others lives, through simple actions, makes the work worthwhile. Providing the water is in a way giving life to the many villagers. I thank Prabhakar Sir and S&P Capital IQ for giving me this opportunity to coordinate and lead this event. I appreciate all the volunteers for their gift of time, energy and enthusiastic support for this event and looking forward to be part of many more events.
It’s not easy and correct for me to say a single word "thanks" for the kindness and empathy shown by all the volunteers, who actively participated in CIM project held at my own village Mubarakpur. All my villagers are very pleased with our work and the intention of our company for the well-being of the society.
This is a wonderful opportunity to for us to serve the society, at Mubarakpur village. The water tanks we constructed will be useful to the villagers to resolve their water problem especially to farmers in cleaning their leafy vegetables.

This event has given a lot of personal satisfaction and "A Day Out" in such village with my colleagues and with less pollution rejuvenated my energy. We have taken up the activity of plantation around school premises, which also promote water conservation.

I had a wonderful experience of helping village people at Mubarakpur village. I have learned lot as a part of this event, things which we take for granted are becoming scarce these days. Water is one of them, to provide it and bring awareness on its conservation is truly a soul filling experience.
