unit of McGraw Hill Financial www.mhfi.com )
About Community Impact Program: McGraw-Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com ), the company which strongly
believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. MHFI encourages its employees
to work for service projects in which 3+ employees would be working together for
solving public problems in their community to build better lives and stronger communities.
MHFI grants $1000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project.
This year S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad (part of MHFI group) employees applied for
projects from various areas of the Nation to serve the society under Employee
Volunteer Grant (EVG).
Project Location: M.P.P. School and Panchayat Office, TJ Nagaram Village,
Kotananduru Mandal, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India
About the Project: T J Nagaram village is located in Kotananduru Mandalam, East
Godavari District and it is nearly 600 KMs from Hyderabad Office. This is small
village with a primary school, there is no basic facilities in that school and
no library and Students and un employed youth is not sound in terms of current
competent world to get success in their career as majority people is
economically weak. Hence with this library, .students and village youth can get
benefit of it.

Activity: Handing over the study desks and Sports kit to school staff,
Interaction with the students and conducting Competitions, setting up Village
library and explanation of usage to village people, handing over the 2
Computers and Projector to Z.P.H. School, D. Polavaram
Date & Time: 1st Feb, 2016 from 9 am to 4:30 pm
Number of Volunteers: 4
Highlights:
1. MHFI provided Rs.60,000
for procuring materials and expenses for the project
2. Provided Study desks,
Sports kit and Note books for School Students
3. Establishing a Village
library with Chairs, Tables, Iron self, Books, Journals, Magazines and News
papers
4. 2 Computers and Projector
for High School.
5. Conducted Career guidance
program for High School students.
Impact:
Little
children (Between 5 to 10 Years) used to sit on floor, but now they can sit on
benches which we have provided. Village youth and other people can use library
facilities. With the help of this library, unemployed youth can get more books
and material to face current competitive world and to get success in their
career. And High school students could get basic computer knowledge with the
use of our computers and can have advanced learning methods with the help of
projector.

FEEDBACK OF THE VOLUNTEERS:
Ram babu Surla (Project Leader):- I can’t get the suitable words
to express my gratitude towards our organization as its support and assistance to
my village and my first school is amazing. My village could get more facilities
which I never seen before. I am very thankful to S&P Capital IQ for the
support extended to execute the EVG Project in my village. Especially, my
villagers are so happy and they want to convey their special thanks to our Organization
and Management.
Narasimha Rao Nerji:- I felt very happy to be
part of this Project. As part of the Project, we provided all equipment to
Library, Benches for Primary School & Computers to High School. The
Students and Village people felt very happy with this Project. I am thankful to
our Esteemed Organization MHFI to give this opportunity.
Srinivasulu Gattu:- It is a wonderful
opportunity for me. I am very happy to be part of this project. In this project,
we provided all facilities to library, Benches for Primary school at T,J
Nagaram village and also One Projector and Computers to Z.P. High School, D. Polavaram,
Tuni Mandal. This project gave us a great satisfaction because in this we have
provided basic needs to the village library. Village people, students and staff
of both schools are very happy with this project. I am thankful to our Esteem
Organization MHFI, to give this opportunity and looking forward for more such
projects in the future.
Sri Hari Gopala Krishna Ganji:- I am very happy to be a part
of this project. It is a great opportunity to serve the society and spending
time with school children and my colleagues with the service motto is memorable.

which are more essential to our village unemployed people to get success in
