unit of McGraw Hill Financial www.mhfi.com )
About Community Impact Program: McGraw-Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com ), the company which strongly
believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. MHFI encourages its employees
to work for service projects in which 3+ employees would be working together for
solving public problems in their community to build better lives and stronger communities.
MHFI grants $1000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project.
This year S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad (part of MHFI group) employees applied for
projects from various areas of the Nation to serve the society under Employee
Volunteer Grant (EVG).
Project Location: M.P.U.P. School, Muchintala Village, Penuganchiprolu Mandal,
Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India, PIN - 521190.
About the Project: M.P.U.P. School is
situated at a distance of 230 KMs from Capital IQ, Hyderabad office. Mr.
Srinivasa Rao (Head Master) approached us to support the M.P.U.P. School. The
school is located near to paddy Cultivating Farm lands. The School has 152
students, they requested for facilitating compound wall to the school, to
protect students from various insects, snakes and chemicals sprayed in farm
lands. Our support provides safety to them.

Impact:
The
school is now secured with the compound wall. And now all the students have
confident on their career & able to know importance of study and
environment. Students and village people can have a habit of plantation of
saplings.

FEEDBACK OF THE VOLUNTEERS:
Venkata Krishna Borra (Project Leader): It is a great opportunity to
every employee to serve the society. I would like to personally thank to our
Organization and CIM Committee for designing of Employee Volunteer Grant
Program. My Heart full Thanks to S&P Capital IQ for giving me this
opportunity to serve a School Located in my Village. I have seen the happiness
of School Staff, Village natives, School Children, Family and friends as the
leading corporate company came forward to provide Compound Wall to the School. My
heart full “Thanks” to the volunteers for spending their valuable time in
making this project a great success. With
their energy and enthusiastic support I did this.
Lingaiah Guti: I am very much glad to be a
part of the EVG project. School children and Staff were very happy about Compound
wall facility. I also enjoyed in participating in planation, Blackboard
painting, Conducting Games to children and giving suggestions for their future
goals.
Pavan Kumar Gudivada: First of all I would like to
thank my project leader Venkata Krishna Borra and S&P Capital IQ for giving
me the wonderful opportunity to be a part of such a nice and wonderful project.
I smelled the smiles of the Students, Staff and Village natives. They felt very
happy as our organization provided compound wall which provides safety to the
students from air sprayed chemicals in the Agricultural lands. The students are
really energetic. They entertained us with their mind blowing talent. They felt
very happy with the guidance given by our volunteers. And they promised that
they also participate in the social service programs in the future. I really
appreciate the hospitality provided by Venkata Krishna Borra. The village
natives also felt very happy to meet us. Thank to all the volunteers for making
this project a historical.
Madhusudhana Parvatha Reddy: I felt very happy to participate
in this kind of activities and I have seen that people are very happy for getting
this kind of services from our company. It is great honor to be part of this
program.
Subrahmanyam Vissamsetti: I am very much glad to be a
part of this project. Children, village people and Staff were very happy about Compound
wall facility. I also enjoyed in participating in planation, Conducting Games
to children and giving suggestions for their future goals. I am thankful to my
MHFI for giving such a wonderful opportunity.

school is secured with a compound wall which protects from various insects and
Air sprayed chemicals. My sincere thanks to S&P capital IQ, especially
Venkata Krishna Borra. He inspired us to lead our lives better and encouraged
us to actively participate in social service activities.

Capital IQ and participated volunteers. They not only painted the Blackboards,
but also paved the way to build colorful life.

Narayana Rao (Ex Sarpanch) : We are very much thankful to MHFI and S&P
Capital IQ for Providing Financial support to Construct Compound wall facility for
Our Village Scholl. It is very essential, because School is located in Paddy
lands if any farmer uses chemicals or Fertilizers, it directly effecting School
children. I and My village people are very happy that your volunteers visited
our village and motivated children to build good Career.
P Narasimharao (Ex Sarpanch): A Leading Corporate company
reaches to our village as a financial supporter is not so easy thing, but great
to see S&P Capital IQ in my village. We are very much thankful to S&P
Capital IQ and EVG Volunteers for providing Compound wall and conducted other
activities to motivate the students as well as staff. Your Volunteers have
suggested us about environment Importance and protection. This is the first
Corporate Company which I have never seen in my village for this kind of
activities.
