About CIM (Giving back is essential):


Lead India 2020 Foundation (www.leadindia2020.org) partnered with McGraw-Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com) the company which strongly believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. It extends to giving back to the society. This year MHFI has launched Community Impact Month (CIM) in which 20+ employees would be working together and for solving public problems in their community. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ (part of MHFI group) (www.capitaliq.com) employees applied for projects from various areas. These employees are working tirelessly to fulfill the motto and render true meaning to 'Giving back is essential'.


CIM Highlights:

About The Project:

This Primary School is situated at around 12 kilometers from our office in Kukatpally, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Balanagar Mandal, Rangareddy Dist.
There are 207 students from 1st to 5th Standard. This school roof is covered with cement Asbestos sheets which are producing very heat in summer and required paint and water taps for toilets and water purifier is also required to the school children.

Pre GVD activities:
1.       False ceiling facility
2.       Toilet doors repair, plastering and white wash
3.       Providing water taps for toilets.
4.       Providing Electrical fittings for lighting in the class rooms

Voluntary work involved on the GVD Day:
Ø  Brief introduction about Capital IQ and GVD Program.
Ø  Preparation of the school ground.
Ø  Cleaning the school premises.
Ø  Painting walls, windows, and doors and Pasting of Wall posters.
Ø  Conduct GK Quizzes and Sport activities for children.
Ø  Conduct awareness campaign for parents and local people about importance of education.

Satya Seshu Kumar: I am very happy to be a part of this wonderful project, which allowed me to mingle with colleagues and Prashanthi Nagar School, and share my thoughts. Thanks to S&P Capital IQ for giving me this opportunity, I am looking forward to be part of many more.

Vijaya Babu Deevi:  It was a great experience to work as volunteer in your CIM project. I felt happy as I associated in this project that we worked on school and provided other facilities which helps to children to spend some time peacefully and play some games in that School. This type of projects would help the society and I felt happy to take initiative by you. Our GVD leader Mr. AVR is so friendly in nature and he take care us well from beginning to end of the project. He provided all facilities that we needed on that day. School head master Reddy & Staff is helpful on that day. We will give confidence for the society.

Murali Challamalla: As a part of the CIM project, we have arranged POP work for school and along with we did involve compound area cleaning and plantation. I felt very happy as a part of this team.
