FEEDBACK OF THE VOLUNTEERS:

Kiran Kumar Kaza: I am very much happy for being part of the  CIM Kickoff 2015. As part of this, around 80 volunteers has given the insight on various career options available for the students. All the students felt really happy and have taken clarifications on their dream careers. All the volunteers shared that the event has given lot of inner satisfactions by sharing knowledge with the students. We all thank our esteemed company for giving us this opportunity to serve the society.

Kalyan Pothini: I participated in many number of CIM Projects from last 6 years but this project gave lot of self satisfaction. I played key role in this project by way of coordinating with children’s, guests, speakers and admin team volunteers. Our volunteers worked dedicatedly and helped orphan children for improvement of their self confidence levels.  Those orphan children felt so secure with our volunteer guidance and got motivated to settle in their life even though they have limited income sources. Most of the children exhibited their talent. I am so happy to be part of this kick off CIM Project. Thanks to the MHFI management for accepting this project.

Arun Kumar Karnati: Community Impact Month Kick Off 2015 was a splendid day for S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad team. It turned out to be the most fruitful day with more than 250 orphan children benefiting. The day started with a small gathering where all the children were given introduction for the day. Then, it continued with lively sessions on self-development and career guidance for children. At the end of the day, we could see all the children cheerful with the knowledge and the guidance they acknowledged. As those children were orphans or semi-orphans, they really needed someone to guide them in their educational and career path. They were very delighted to know various options available in the near future for them to grab the opportunities in the market. Some of them exclaimed, ‘We now know what we have to do in life’.
It was most touching when those little children were calling our volunteers as ‘brother and sister’. That’s what those children need, a brotherly love and concern and guidance in their lives. We were also very satisfied as the day was filled with inculcating the knowledge and direction to those little children. We strongly believe that the children will carry with them what they have learned and will implement them in their lives. The proverb, ‘Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime’ came true as we could see the children promising us that they would implement all that they learned in their studies and career after. Thanks to McGraw-Hill for giving us this memorable experience through ‘Community Impact Month”. I am proud to be part of this bountiful happening.

Praveen Varma Yejarla: Around 50 enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers had interacted with the students. It was a motivational and useful session for the children, as our volunteers established a warm relationship with them quickly; and then tried to instill self belief and positive attitude in them. The volunteers explained the value of life, challenges it throws, opportunities it gives and the attitude needed to grow. Children confided in them and asked many questions and raised concerns. Our volunteers have explained in detail and assured them of existence of helping hands for them.

Venkata Kiran Ravi: Around 120 volunteers actively participated in providing various career opportunities available in each Industry. The Volunteers  explained 16 types of industries and various job roles in it and encouraged the children to pursue the dream career by choosing right educational path to become a successful professionals. Each volunteer has  shared insights of each industry  to the children and ingested a desire to pursue the higher studies for a better career path.Childrens actively involved with the volunteers and asked few questions and took suggestions.
