About CIM (Giving back
is Essential):
McGraw-Hill Financial strongly believes in the motto,
‘Giving back is essential’. It extends to giving back to the society. MHFI
launched this year Community Impact Month, in which 20+ employees will come
together and work for solving any public problems in their community. MHFI
grants $2000 per project and employees will spend their personal time for the
project. This year S&P Capital IQ employees applied for 84 such projects.
These employees work tirelessly to fulfill the motto and render true meaning to
‘Giving back is essential’.
CIM Highlights:
About CIM Project:
Mandala Pradhamika patashala is located in Hafeezpet in Serilingampally Mandal in Rangareddy district Andhra Pradesh
which is 4 KM from our Hyderabad Office. It’s running under State Govt.
control. Around 300 students are studying in this school.
This school doesn’t have minimum basic needs like,
drinking water facilities and the
urinals which are in damaged condition students, no tables and chairs for
staff. Toilets, doors & windows require repair.
The aim of
this project is to:

Providing
drinking water facilities to the students.
·
Providing
proper repair facilities in urinals and sanitation.
·
Providing
chairs and tables to the staff (12 Nos of chairs).
·
Rain
water collection, filter, storage and usage system
·
Note
books distribution for Students.
·
School
premises cleaning.
·
Plantation
of trees.
·
Conducting
games.
We also want to conduct
health and educational awareness campaign for parents and local people about
school and the importance of education and keeping the surroundings clean and
green.

a well organized CIM, with lot of
activities conducted and give career guidance to 10th class. I feel very happy
by participating in this event.

am very happy to say that I have worked as one of the volunteer in your CIM project “COMMUNITY IMPACT PROGRAM on
30/6/2014 at PS-HAFEEZPET” . First I would like to appreciate being a
social responsibility in selecting this project is an important job,
especial in caring for Govt. School children where the school management
failed to provide minimum basic needs for their children’s such as Drinking
water, Toilets & water storage etc. From the day beginning I was working
with enthusiasm coordinating with Childrens like….. conducting games, knowledge
enhancement sessions instead of regular class room sessions, empowering their
confidence in career building, planting trees etc,
