About Community Impact Month (Giving back is Essential)
Lead India 2020 Foundation (www.leadindia2020.com) partnered with McGraw-Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com) the company which strongly believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. It extends to giving back to the society. This year MHFI has launched Community Impact Month (CIM) in which 20+ employees would be working together and for solving public problems in their community. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ (part of MHFI group) (www.capitaliq.com) employees applied for projects from various areas. These employees are working tirelessly to fulfill the motto and render true meaning to 'Giving back is essential'.


Below are details of one of the CIM projects.

CIM Highlights at Z.P.H.S: KAMKOLE

This Z.P.H.S is located at KAMKOLE, MEDAK DIST at a distance of Approx. 65 KMs from S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad office. Mr. Anathram, Head Master approached us to support and provide facilities to the students of the school and help them to concentrate on studies and get good results in studies.
The school consists of 450 students from class VI to X.

 As part of EVG program, in association with the Akshayapatra Foundation, we conducted a community-service program at the same school.

 This year, we propose to support the school to provide with better facilities to the children and also teachers to grow and become good citizen.


About Library: KAMKOLE

Mr. Ramulu, Kamkole Village sarpanch approached us to support and provide LIBRARY facility to the Village people and help them to concentrate on studies and get good Jobs in their life.
We reconstructed Library building in CIM project. This is useful to more the 400 students and 300 farmers; in this library we donated educational books, competitive books (i.e police constable, Banks, SI, Teachers, Group I, II, etc).  

 The Aim of this project:
  1. Providing benches for the students.
  2. Providing Racks to school.
  3. Providing career path material.
  4. 3 Days Lead India Life Skills Training  & Career Guidance
  5. Distributing prizes to students on various activities (Quiz & Essay writing).
 Voluntary work involved on the Day:
Ø   Cleaning and painting the school
Ø   Conducting games, essay, elocution, quiz and other competitions
Ø   Handing over the benches and rocks  to the school management in presence of school parents committee.
Ø   Distributing career path material to 10 th class students.


Impact of Volunteer work at Z.P.H.S: Kamkole
 In addition to this, we also gave Lead India Life Skills Training and career guidance which resulted into helping the students understand their responsibilities towards the society and balance their personal and social goals. The students were very enthusiastic and eager to know a lot of things. They participated actively in all the events conducted for them and finally they won the prizes for their efforts. This project will now enable students to participate actively in all competitive exams and also setting their goals for their better future.

Feedback of the CIM Volunteers:-

Venkata Swamy Vallakati  (Co-Project Leader):-Being a Co-Project Leader, first I would like to say my special thanks to CIM Leader (i.e. Mr. Mahesh Goudigama) for successful completion of this project and also giving opportunity to serve the society in terms of donating benches and rock and Renovation of Library. I was very happy to be the part of this wonderful project, which allowed me to work for the welfare of School.  I got immense pleasure and self satisfaction as I try to give back the society some thing though this project. This is possible only because of MHFI! Once again thanks for giving me an opportunity to serve the society.

Ch.v.v. Jnana Kumar:-As a volunteer of this CIM Project, first I would like to say my heartful thanks to CIM Leader (i.e. Mr. Mahesh Goudigama) for successfully completing this project. This was a wonderful opportunity to help Students by providing some needy facilities to them. The Students were very happy with our interaction. 
we all together helped the students to understand their responsibilities towards the society and educate them in balancing their personal life with social goals. The students were very enthusiastic and eager to know a lot of things. They were actively participated in all the events conducted for them. I enjoyed this opportunity alongwith all other Volunteers.

And also my special thanks to Mr. Prabhakar Sir for encouraging this kind of activities to promote such an healthy environment in the society and to strengthen it further.
 I heartfully wish to participate in similar typea of activities as much as possible.

Rama Krishna Lingam:- It was a lovely experience having a great time with children through knowledge sharing and make them understand how to build a career in their interested field, we should thank Mc-Graw hill companies for encouraging this kind of initiative encouraging the schools to strengthen the future of India. We start learning things from books providing a library to a village where education matters is an EFFORT by Mr. Mahesh.

Suresh Kumar Aravapally:- It was a wonderful opportunity to be part of the CIM project under the leadership of Mahesh Goudigama and to provide Benches for the school children and an interaction with them on Career Guidance. We have also Constructed library in village and I hope, it will prove to be a good initiative.

Ajay Kumar Rayapati:-Being a volunteer of this CIM Project, first I would like to say my special thanks to CIM Leader (i.e. Mr. Mahesh Goudigama) for successful completion of this project and also giving opportunity to serve the society in terms of donating benches, Career Guidance to students & construction of Library in the village for knowledge enhancement.

It was a wonderful opportunity to help Students by providing some extra facilities to them. The Students were very happy with our interaction.

The students were very enthusiastic and eager to know a lot of things. They participated actively in all the events conducted for them. I actively involved and enjoyed this opportunity along with all other Volunteers.  And also my special thanks to Mr. Prabhakar Sir for encouraging these kinds of activities to protect the goodness in the society and to strengthen it further.
I hope and wish to be a part of similar activities as much as possible.

Ravinder Raju:-Being a volunteer of CIM Project: Renovation of Library & Benches & Racks distribution to School -KAMKOLE on 7th -July-2014, first I would like to say my special thanks to CIM Leader (i.e. Mr. Mahesh Goudigama) for successful completion of this project and also giving opportunity to serve the society in terms of donating benches and Racks. In addition to the above, we all together helped the students understand their responsibilities towards the society and balance their personal and social goals. I feel proud as an employee of this organization which one doing wonders by providing the basic elements to Government led school where even students not having minimum needs such as Benches, tables etc., and wish to continue this noble act in future also. 

Venkata Ramana Kudupudi:- Being a volunteer of CIM Project at ZPHS Kamkole , first I would like to thank S&P Capital IQ, Prabhakar Sir and CIM Leader's (Mahesh & Venkata Swamy ) for successful completion of this project and also giving me the opportunity to serve the society. I am very happy to be a part of this wonderful project, which allowed me to mingle with students and share my thoughts. Looking forward to participate in the projects of this kind.

Govardhan Pingili:- Being a volunteer of CIM Project at Kamkole , first I would like to thanks to CIM Leaders (Mahesh Goudigama). After a couple of years I participated in the CIM event. Finally I have gained immense satisfaction towards service to the society by participating in your project. First of all I would appreciate your sincerity and dedication towards the project execution and I hope we achieve the objects of the project. I personally interacted with all of the school students and also shared my knowledge and experience with them and I also explained future career opportunities in their way.

 The staff or management of the school was so happy by taking the amenities provided by us. The joy and happiness of the school children while conducting games and interaction was unforgettable. Hope S&P Capital IQ and we should conduct more projects in the future and I would like to participate in these types of projects for my sole’s satisfaction.

 Hari Krishna Gunda:-It was a very good experience as I shared my thoughts with the children and learnt their plans for the future. We showed them the road map for their future as what need to be done to achieve success. On the other hand I felt very concern about these children as the difference between them and those in the big schools is widened. Lot need to be done and I am very much happy that our organization is doing a lot in this field and more over I am a part of it.

Mahesh Goudigama (Project Leader):- Being a Project Leader of CIM Project, first I would like to say my special thanks to Mr. Prabhakar Sir for giving opportunity to serve the society in terms of donating benches, Tables & Chairs and also life skills training & Career Guidance to students.
I am extremely grateful to all the volunteers and also my special thanks to Co-Project Leader – Mr. Venkata Swamy and Mr. Ravinder Raju for successful completion of this project.
The manner in which you all immersed yourself in to the role of volunteer is amazing. Your interaction with those underprivileged children will stay forever in their minds and it will certainly transform them into good citizens of tomorrow.

Z.P.H.S – Kamkole is extremely grateful to you and the entire team of S & P Capital IQ and my special thanks to S&P Capital IQ, and CIM Leader (i.e. Mr. Mahesh Goudigama) for supporting us in our cause of encouraging Education of underprivileged children. Children in the remote and rural areas are in real need of interventions like career guidance and confidence building to prepare themselves to be competitive in their future.
