About CIM (Giving back is Essential)
Lead India 2020 Foundation (www.leadindia2020.org) partnered with McGraw-Hill Financial (www.mhfi.com) the company which strongly believes in the motto, 'Giving back is essential'. It extends to giving back to the society. This year MHFI has launched Community Impact Month (CIM) in which 20+ employees would be working together and for solving public problems in their community. MHFI grants $2000 per project and employees spend their personal time on the project. This year S&P Capital IQ (part of MHFI group) (www.capitaliq.com) employees applied for projects from various areas. These employees are working tirelessly to fulfill the motto and render true meaning to 'Giving back is essential'.
Below are the details of one of the CIM projects.

Present problems at PHC-Jinnaram
The PHC-Jinnaram building slab is leaking. This facility does not have a proper drainage facility. Due to the lack of these facilities patients are suffering while staying in that building, especially in the rainy season.
Volunteer work done at PHC-Jinnaram
Keeping in mind these problems, S&P Capital IQ Hyd. conducted a CIM event at PHC-Jinnaram on June 08, 2014
- Renovated and painted PHC
- Distributed bread and fruits to the patients
- Interacted with patients
- Helped hospital staff in organizing the hospital
- Cleaned and planted saplings at the PHC premises
Impact of Volunteer work at PHC-Jinnaram
After the CIM project, the building has a new look and the water leakage problem also got solved. Now hospital capacity has increased and it can provide treatment to more patients. These facilities will enable doctors to provide better treatment to the patients with improved zeal and enthusiasm. But, more importantly this project will now enable safe and health delivery of babies, the future of our nation.
