This year S&P Capital IQ, Hyderabad (part of MHFI group) employees applied for projects from various areas of the Nation to serve the society under Employee Volunteer Grant (EVG).

Project Location: M.P.U.P. School, Thakkallapad Village, Warangal, Telangana, India
About the Project:  M.P.U.P. School, Thakkallapad is located in Warangal district and it is nearly 210 KMs from Hyderabad Office. S&P Capital IQ planned to do EVG project to Facilitating Desk Benches, Marker Boards, chairs, fan, Note Books  to Government High School and guiding the students about the career development.

6.       Guided the students on Career paths and Opportunities.

Impact:
EVG Project helps the students to sit on the benches and able to pay attention for their classes. And also we could motivate the students by providing sports equipment to participate in the sports. 160+ students of this school will be benefited from these facilities. Parents, teachers and students are very happy with the activities done at the school by S&P Capital IQ

Suresh Goggura (Project Leader):- It is a great opportunity to every employee to serve the society. I would like to personally thank to our Organization for designing of Employee Volunteer Grant Program. I am very much glad to be a part of the EVG project at my native place. Our village school children were very happy about our facilities provided to them.
Narasimha Rao:- I participated in this EVG as a volunteer. I proudly say that being a volunteer in this EVG is a good opportunity to serve the needy. I have conducted quiz to the school children. And I have participated in plantation. I felt like a school teacher while at that school
Shiva:-  It was great opportunity to serve the school children explaining the students on career options ahead. I would like to thanks the management of CIQ and the project leader for considering me in this project.
Bajrang Singh Thakur:- This is my first time to be part of EVG program, I am very happy to have part it. There is saying “real satisfaction is helping needy”. It is true and also I felt very much satisfied. Great initiative taken by you and keep it same spirit. At last am very thankful to our company to have such a program.

About the Project:  K.V.R.M.Z.P. High School is located in East Godavari District, Atreyapuram Mandal which is 491 KM from our Hyderabad Office. It’s running under State Govt. control. This is upgraded as Zilla Parishat High school and More than 70 students are studying in this School. All the students are originated from poor and under privileged community. This School does not have minimum infrastructure like Electricity for class rooms except HM Room. It also doesn’t have Drinking water facility

Activity: Facilitating Benches to the students and career guidance program.

Highlights:

2.       Volunteers are Handover furniture, books and sports kit to school children and staff.
3.       Cleaning of school premises with students
4.       Educating the children about the value of Parents and teachers.

Impact:
Now the students will not sit on the floor, they learn the new paths to reach the goals, and they were motivated very much from the career guidance program conducted by me and volunteers. Parents, teachers and students are feeling happy with this service activity done at the school by S&P Capital IQ

Project Location: A.V.V High School, S.V.N. Road Warangal, Warangal Mandal, Warangal District, Telangana, India
About the Project:  A.V.V. high school is located in S.V.N. Road, Warangal district which is around 160 kms from our CIQ Hyderabad office. It is a government aided school running under state government of Telangana. This is a school started in 1944 by Acharya Sri Chandha Kanthayya Sresti, A great philanthropist in the Telangana region. This was a first Telugu medium school in north Telangana region, which is providing free education for the poor and under privileged community from decades. Toilets in this school in a very bad position now, especially girl students are facing many problems with damaged wash rooms, they are about to abandoned. If we renovate those wash rooms, it will very much useful to the girls studying in the school.

Activity: On EVG day we have conducted Essay writing and elocution competition to the students and had an interaction session with the 10th class students and explained them the importance of environmental protection and hygienic conditions etc. finally distributed prizes to the winners in the competitions.

Highlights:
1.       MHFI provided Rs.60,000 for procuring materials and expenses for the project
2.       Renovated girls’ wash rooms.
3.       Distributed Sports Material.
4.       Interaction session with the students.
5.       School premises cleaning.
6.       Plantation of saplings.

Impact:
Lack of toilets, especially separate girls toilets are a big problem in Indian government schools. This is leading for a significant number of drop outs from government schools. Even government of India is also taking this as a serious issue. Now as we provided a beautiful wash room for girl students in this school, it will definitely lead to reduce the girl student drop outs and may attract those who dropped their education in middle due to this problem

Ganesh Penugonda(Project Leader): It is a wonderful opportunity for me and I extended my sincere thanks to S&P capital IQ for giving me this opportunity and I am really thankful to my team for their cooperation. This project gave me a great satisfaction because in this, we have provided basic facilities to the government school. The students and staff are very happy with this project. I look forward to involve more such projects in the future.
Venkata Ramana: It’s a great opportunity to serve the society and I am very happy to be part of this project. On part of this project we provided the wash room renovation and sports material to A.V.V. High school, Warangal and conducted the career guidance classes to the students. Project Location: M.P.U.P. School, Muchintala Village, Penuganchiprolu Mandal, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India, PIN - 521190.
About the Project: M.P.U.P. School is situated at a distance of 230 KMs from Capital IQ, Hyderabad office. Mr. Srinivasa Rao (Head Master) approached us to support the M.P.U.P. School. The school is located near to paddy Cultivating Farm lands. The School has 152 students, they requested for facilitating compound wall to the school, to protect students from various insects, snakes and chemicals sprayed in farm lands. Our support provides safety to them.
