Feedback of Volunteers
Lingaswamy Pagilla (Project Lead): First of all I would like thank S&P Capital IQ for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to serve the people of society. When, I visited my school, I was surprised that the students were sitting under the trees and studying. I looked around the school premises and I came to know that they don’t have even the basic things like benches, drinking water and no proper roofing for class rooms. I also observed that they have only 3 class rooms out of these 3, 2 were damaged and have no proper roofing. In rainy season the school teachers will club all the students in one class room and teaches the lessons. Sometimes they won’t conduct any classes on rainy seasons. The time I have seen these things I asked myself that why don’t we do something to my own school. Though I have this idea in my mind, I don’t have enough money and time to do the same, immediately our CIM program has come to my mind, and I took the pen and noted down all these things. I believed that the CIM will help this school has to have better facilities. So, accordingly I have initiated this project with the inspirational word “GIVING BACK IS ESSENTIAL” which is our company’s tag line; and this is really a good idea that is being promoted by our company to serve back the society. I have participated in many of CIM programs as a volunteer in the last couple of years.
What I received through this project:
I received Heart full thanks from the beneficiaries. Really I didn’t expect and have never received thanks from the children with such enthusiasm and happiness. You know one thing I observed from their feelings that their lips were linked to their hearts to express its feelings.
